There have been several attacks on commercial vessels transiting through the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea in the past week. These attacks have included aerial strikes using drones and missiles, as well as physical interception using attack craft and helicopters. Neptune P2P Group has received further information that at least three of the hijackers of the MV Central Park boarding that were detained by the US on 26 November were Somali nationals with a history of involvement in pirate activity.
