Hostile Environment and Awareness Training (HEAT) Course
Neptune P2P Group’s Hostile Environment and Awareness Training (HEAT) course builds upon SAFE training, bringing practical scenarios to life. Through challenging scenarios, HEAT will build the confidence and capability of individuals who operate in difficult or hostile environments. In experiencing these scenarios, the HEAT course is designed to empower individuals to respond appropriately and subsequently reduce the risks they may face when confronted with a potentially dangerous situation.

- Module 1 – Medical Training. This module is designed to enable course participants to keep a casualty alive until professional medical assistance is available.
- Module 2 – SAFE revision. Revision of travel planning and travel risk management, avoiding terrorism, avoiding and dealing with a hostage situation, and incident/crisis management.
- Module 3 – Exercise 1 – Countering Terrorism. Provide a brief for a meeting in a rural location. On completion of the briefing, the team will depart on their journey. During the journey the team will encounter several realistic scenarios that they will need to deal with.
- Module 4 – Exercise 2 – Dealing with kidnap/hostage situations. Provide a brief for a meeting in a rural location. On completion of the briefing, the team will depart on their journey. During the journey, the team will encounter several realistic scenarios that they will need to deal with.

Delivery Method: Classroom instruction followed by practical exercises with the focus on practical exercises. Our training venues are located in Manchester, UK and Dubai, UAE. Duration: 5 Days.
- Employees (at all levels) travelling to difficult, unstable or hostile regions. Course size is negotiable, [preferred] minimum course size is eight persons.
- Persons attending the Hostile Environment and Awareness Training (HEAT) course will have ideally conducted SAFE training previously.
