For personnel employed or aspire to be employed as a Ship’s Security Officer and crew who may encounter ship security or ship safety problems as they transit high-risk areas, adverse conditions and hostile environments.
To teach participants the skills and qualifications required to maintain and supervise the implementation of the Ship’s Security Plan, assess security risks, threats and vulnerabilities, undertake inspections of the vessel to ensure appropriate security measures are implemented and maintain and monitor and maintain security equipment.
