Event Safety and Security Management Capacity Building

It covers the roles of stewards, supervisors and safety managers and includes Incident Control. Level 3 – Basic Event Safety and Security Management
- Module 1 – Event Safety and Security Management.
- Module 2 – Safety and Security of People: Risk and Threat Assessments.
- Module 3 – Policy Development.
- Module 4 – Contingency Planning.
- Module 5 – Crowd Management.
- Module 6 – Initial Response Management.
- Module 7 – Customer Service.
- Venue visit 1 (Planning).
- Venue visit 2 (Scenario and Final Exercise).
Level 4 (Intermediary – for supervisors and Incident Controllers with an introduction to auditing) Course participants will be capable of supervising all aspects of Crowd Management. Supervisors will be expected to oversee the activity of marshals and support safety managers/auditors.
Level 5 (Diploma – Advanced for safety officers and auditors) Course participants will be capable of managing all aspects of Crowd Management. Managers will be expected to provide command and control over marshals and supervisors and conduct safety audit inspections.
