If you are a crewmember aboard a ship, you need to be aware of the security risks and challenges that you may face. This General Security Awareness – Ships Crew training will help you understand how to protect yourself and the ship from such threats, and how to report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the Ship Security Officer. This training is for all non-security crewmembers who work on various tasks and duties on the ship.

Delivery Method: Distance Learning, half a day of instruction via video conferencing with our qualified instructors.
Duration: 3 hours.
For all other crewmembers aboard a ship who are not assigned security duties but who are responsible for maintaining security awareness and vigilance under the implementation measures and procedures specified within the approved Ship Security Plan managed under the Ship Security Officer.
Ensure course participants are familiar with the duties and responsibilities of a Ship GSA crewmember as directed by the on-board Ship Security Officer implementing the Ship Security Plan in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
