Over 70 migrant related events in the Mediterranean signifies a significant uptick in irregular migration. Also in the Black Sea, Europe, Russia and Ukraine exchange attacks on naval vessels, while two commercial vessels were also damaged in the region.  Off West Africa, over 450 migrants were rescued in 3 incidents, and a potential pirate related incident occurred south of Togo.
