A year on from the Houthi’s first attack in the Red Sea, 110 commercial vessels have been attacked, with two ships sunk and four sailors killed. A consequence of these attacks and its effect on the global economy is a reported  270% increase on the total cost of shipping a container from Asia to Northern Europe.
