This is the first of three reports examining the threats that climate change poses to global security. In this report, we will take a broader look at how society has been dealing with environmental concerns: where we’ve been, where we are and where we’re headed. In our second report we’ll get into the detail of direct and indirect security challenges, while the intricacies of risk management will be the subject of our third report.
Then, in advance of the United Nations (UN) Conference of Parties (otherwise known as COP) 28, taking place from 30 November to 12 December in Dubai, we will bring together all these discussion points into a final Spotlight Report. This will allow us to review the consequences of climate change and the potential security solutions – including how Neptune P2P can contribute to mitigating security concerns.
