The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) believes the hijacking of Orkim Harmony was an inside job.
A spokesman said it suspected a crewmember is involved as the modus operandi was similar to eight other ship hijacking cases this year.
“The crewmen are being questioned and investigations are underway to determine which one tipped off the pirates…”
