Mystery still surrounds the oil tanker which appeared on the coast of Liberia last week. It is not certain where the crew members are, neither is it known how the vessel sailed into Liberian waters and made its way on the coast.
What could this be? Piracy or mercenary that could threaten the national security of the state in the future, some Liberians are reported to have expressed concern.
The 64-foot oil tanker, named Tamaya 1, is reported to have left the port of Dakar in Senegal on April 21 and broadcast her last known location on April 22. However, a week later, the tanker mysteriously washed up on the shore of Robertsport in Liberia, leaving the population in panic.
