Heavily armed inter-agency detectives forced their way into the Port of Mombasa and searched a vessel for drugs and firearms on Thursday night.
They made their way in through gate 10, roughed up and handcuffed several KPA security personnel on suspicion that they would cause alarm and leak information.
This was after a Hoegh transporter vessel, suspected to contain the drugs and firearms, docked at the port to offload cargo and leave.
Most of the cars in the vessel were imports from Japan and Dubai and there were also several UN cars that were to be transported to Uganda.
