The Vicente A. Sagun Municipal Police Station filed complaints on Monday (August 24) against four men accused of being involved in sea piracy.
Senior Supt. Sofronio Ecaldre, chief of the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Police Provincial Office, identified the four suspects as Joveto Galorio, Bobby Jerusalem, Joel Langgam, and Fredo Sapas Oclaret — all residents of Barangay Igat Island in Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur.
Ecaldre said they were arrested on the afternoon of August 21 after an encounter with police who were conducting a seaborne patrol along the municipal waters off Barangay Biu-Os.
