Abu Dhabi: The anti-piracy team within the Gulf Cooperation Council has met in Abu Dhabi to discuss the necessary measures to protect national interests against maritime piracy threats.
The meeting was hosted by the United Arab Emirates National Transport Authority and will conclude today, having discussed the use of armed security personnel on national vessels and foreign vessels that come to GCC ports.
