MARITIME EVACUATION (MAREVAC) plan for ConocoPhillips Business Unit (BU) staff located in Qatar

Due to the increasing tensions in the Middle East and the potential elevated risk of airspace being closed Neptune’s Risk Management team will compile a detailed MAREVAC plan for ConocoPhillips Business Unit (BU) staff who work out of Pearl City, Doha Qatar.

In case a MAREVAC is triggered it is understood that the number of expatriate staff does notexceed forty, the majority of whom are USA nationals and include 2 x Australian and 1 x Norwegian nationals.

The MAREVAC plan will include:

  • MAREVAC CONOP start and finish points with recommended options
  • Evacuation triggers
  • Maritime Notice to Effect (M-NTE)
  • Authority approvals for embarkation/disembarkation
  • Logistics, luggage , exercises, and drills
