What We Did
In 2022, our inhouse maritime security specialists spent a week on board a cruise ship in Scandinavia. After conducting a Ship Security Assessment (SSA) and reviewing the Ship Security Plan (SSP) we conducted Maritime Security Training including STCW Personal Security Duties (PSD) training which is a mandatory requirement for designated crew.
We are certified by the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) to deliver a range of courses in line with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. We also go beyond the ISPS Code to ensure the ship and crew establish effective immediate action plans against security threats for the ship’s area of operations as part of their Best Management Practice on board.
