WHAT WE DID
Neptune P2P Group provided an on ground Security Risk Assessment (SRA) for passengers sailing on a luxury cruise liner to Egypt. The client had included a pilgrims excursion to St. Catherine’s Monastery on the Sinai Peninsula, in its itinerary.
In recent years, St. Catherine’s Monastery has been the location of a number of attacks and kidnappings from Islamic insurgents. The SRA included a detailed analysis of the key risks, the area surrounding the Port of Nuweibaa, the travel route inland to St. Catherine’s Monastery, and the main routes to Sharm El Sheikh.
The assessment allowed the cruise liner to make an informed decision on the pilgrimage, and complete their mission successfully.
