In April, a Pirate Action Group carried out a series of attacks on vessels operating close to the Somali coast. The PAG successfully hijacked two commercial vessels and at least one fishing vessel. In other regions, ships were boarded by criminals in the Singapore Strait and in anchorages in Côte d’Ivoire, Malaysia and the Caribbean. UAV attacks were carried out by Russia and Ukraine targeting commercial shipping operating across the Black Sea.
