The Neptune P2P Group, recently appointed by the Government of Gabon to provide armed SEV support for vessels operating within the Gabonese EEZ through its operational entity Gabon Maritime Security (GMS), has established a fully functional operations office in Libreville. This office serves as the central hub for cross-border maritime security operations in the region. Strategically located close to the Gabon Navy Operations Center, the Libreville office ensures strong coordination and real-time collaboration with national authorities. It is staffed by a combination of experienced Neptune Group francophone personnel and local professionals, providing a balanced and effective operational structure, in line with our motto “Global Expertise, Local Knowledge”.
The office is equipped with state-of-the-art systems and follows Neptune’s global operational standards, including advanced tracking tools and live monitoring capabilities. This enables efficient mission management, high situational awareness, and rapid response to operational requirements. Leadership on-site includes a dedicated Operations Director, supported by regional task managers and overseen by a recognized maritime security expert. This structure guarantees strong governance, continuous supervision, and alignment with international best practices.
On the wider picture, the whole project provides continuity of protection offshore – cross border in West/Central Africa – when combined with our Group’s armed escort solutions in neighbouring countries.
