Nigeria: Mostan Vows to Stop Pipeline Vandalism, Illegal Bunkering

Ughelli — Collins Ajeboghouku, leader of the Warri Zone of Marine Oil Supplies and Transporters Association of Nigeria (MOSTAN), has reiterated the desire of the association to join forces with government security agencies to stop pipeline vandalism and bunkering in the nation’s waterways.

Ajeboghouku, who stated this during the annual assessment tour of the association in Forcados, Koko and Warri units, enjoined members of the association to be up and doing in keeping with the mission statement of the association above their personal interest at all times. In his speech during the tour, Comrade Andrew Eruotor, Chairman/National Coordinator of MOSTAN, disclosed that the association has resolved to register all marine craft of the association that are deployed in the country’s waterways with the aim of maintaining inventory in order to monitor and control their operations for maximum compliance with the association’s policies and objectives. He said these are in line with Federal Government policies in the maritime industry.
