Pirates have attacked a passenger boat in Ibaka Channel, Calabar River, Nigeria.
Reports state that a gang of around 20 armed pirates in two speed boats attacked and boarded the boat at 1245 LT in position 04:37N-008:22E on Monday. The attackers are reported to have kidnapped one person. Further details awaited.
