In March, the Shipping Industry released a new Best Management Practice (BMP) for maritime security, while US airstrikes in Yemen and the end of the ceasefire in Gaza raised concerns. In Europe, migration events continued, a proposed naval ceasefire in the Black Sea may lead to a resolution of the current maritime threats to commercial shipping.
