Yemen’s call came at the opening of the Gulf of Aden Regional Forum to combat terrorism, which kicked off on Monday, April 8 / April.
Said Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, in the opening session of the conference that the countries bordering the Red Sea claim increased coordination between the security services and the military to confront terrorism and the fight against piracy.
On the sidelines of the forum, Qirbi discussed with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Mohamed Nur made, the situation of Somali refugees in Yemen, security issues and other political.
According to the official Yemeni news agency SABA that Qirbi affirmed “Yemen’s support for the Somali government’s efforts in establishing the rules of the state” on the basis of the principle of diligence “and territorial integrity of Somalia and respect the sovereignty and stability.”
